Virtual EQ Café – Powered by Purpose

17th November, 04:00–06:00 pm, West African Time

Using Emotions as a Catalyst for purpose-driven Action.

Focus: Empower Your Potential

In our third topic this year, we delve into fueling purpose in the workplace. This initiative focuses on transforming emotions into actionable insights, enabling us to lead with purpose, even in challenging times. Our theme, Powered by Purpose: Using Emotions as Fuel for Action, explores how a purpose-driven approach, guided by emotional intelligence, impacts the way we work and leads our decisions.
In the pursuit of sustainable growth and resilience, understanding and leveraging emotions play a crucial role. Our goal is to foster a global community where leaders and teams are equipped with the skills to practice emotional intelligence. As part of this effort, we focus on developing self-direction—a fundamental pillar of EQ in the workplace. Through the year, we’ve built on self-awareness and self-management, and now we bring these competencies together with a targeted focus on self-direction, aligning personal purpose with corporate objectives.

In this Business Café, we will explore:

  • How purpose strengthens intentions and enhances commitment to corporate goals.
  • The role of emotions in fostering purposeful actions and guiding decision-making within an organizational context.
  • Strategies to balance professional demands while maintaining a clear focus on personal and corporate purpose.
Who: Business leaders and professionals who are not only interested in learning about and practicing emotional intelligence – the learnable, measurable, scientifically validated skillset we all need to thrive but also interested in building a workforce equipped with emotional intelligence, driving them toward shared success and purpose-aligned growth.
