Deploying Optimism as a Driving Force for Purposeful Living

Optimism and Purpose

Starting off a new year, job, or project, do you know your “why”? We can help one another live more intentional, purpose-driven lives – and it all starts with knowing your purpose. In The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho calls a person’s “why” their personal legend, or in Spanish, their leyenda personal. In the Six Seconds EQ Model, a person’s “why” is called their noble goal, and pursuing noble goals – is living in a way that brings your bigger purpose to life every single day. One of our EQ competencies that supports us in staying on course with our “why” is Exercising Optimism.  Request for this interactive course to practice tools that will help us do so.

“Although the world is full of suffering , It is also full of overcoming it.” ~ Helen Keller

Optimism, by our definition, is taking a proactive perspective of hope and possibility.

Emotional intelligence (aka “EQ”) means being smarter with feelings — and we can grow EQ by practicing together. EQ Cafés are insightful, engaging sessions for people curious about emotional intelligence to connect and learn together.

In this Emotional Intelligence Application Café, we will discover:

  • The benefit of exploring or revisiting our Why
  • What are some strategies and actions to strengthen our optimism and serve our purpose
  • How can EQ and optimism help us stay connected to our purpose?

The Applied Emotional Intelligence courses can be deployed in 2 Hours – Half Day or Full Day insightful sessions for employees to achieve change by applying the potency of emotional Intelligence to different areas of organizational needs.
