Emotions are part of being human and ignoring them even in business is always the
wrong move. Economics may be guided by supply and demand but purchase decisions are still influenced by emotions.

Clearly, emotions will always be staples in a buyer-seller interaction.
However, emotions can also — and often — backfire. Salespeople with low EI tend to let their own emotions get the better of them.
