EQ Café – Empathy & Belonging

In these times of multiple crises, polarization and isolation, how can we move together to create new sustainable opportunities and possibilities for individuals and communities? Research says empathy is declining (6sec.org/soh) but isn’t that one of the most essential tools for increasing belonging and connection?

Join this free, interactive “EQ Café” event to practice tools that will help us do so.

“Together we must move like waves. Have you observed the ocean?  The waves are not the same over and over — each one is unique and responsive.

The goal is not to repeat each other’s motion, but to respond in whatever feels right in your body. The waves we create are both continuous and one-time occurrences.

We must notice what it takes to respond well. How it feels to be in a body, in a whole– separate, aligned, cohesive.  Critically connected.”

– Adrienne Maree brown, Emergent Strategy
