With this training, participants will be able to:
KPI Selection:
You’ll learn to stop using “vanity metrics". You’ll practise writing clear KPI definitions and choosing Leading indicators (predicting the future) versus Lagging indicators (looking at the past).
Target Setting:
You’ll use a structured formula to set targets. No more “finger in the air" guessing—you’ll use historical data and benchmarks to pick a number that sticks.
The Documentation Form:
This is the core tool. You’ll learn how to fill out a KPI Documentation Form so everyone knows exactly how a metric is calculated.
Cascading:
You’ll map out how a CEO’s “Increase Profit" goal breaks down into a specific functional KPI for a manager on the ground.
Reporting:
You’ll practice running a Performance Review Meeting without it turning into a finger-pointing session.
